From Pill to Patient
On February 25th, 2016, over 100 students from all different health sciences programs gathered to Center Hall in the Busch Student Center to see a panel of health professionals discuss their
professional experiences. Hosted by Phi Delta Chi, IPhO, Alpha Kappa Psi, Delta Epsilon Phi, and RSNA, the panel featured speakers from a variety of different educational backgrounds. The speakers included professionals with PharmD, MD, MBA, RN, and BSN degrees. The panel was moderated by one representatives from each of the collaborating organizations, and the panelists were asked questions related to how their educational background shaped their role in pharma. Each of these professionals had different perspectives to offer about the industry, and they helped to give an idea of all of the different roles that are involved in going from pill to patient.
